Companions, Inc. will host its Membership Meeting and Costume Party on Tuesday, October 28 at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, featuring a new Doggy Costume Parade through the hospital followed by food, awards, and elections. The organization will also donate $500 to Bethel Friends of Canines to support rescue efforts after Typhoon Halong and collect additional donations at the event. Members are encouraged to join visits at various community sites, including the UAF Library, North Pole Library, Senior Center, and Fairbanks Vet Center, to continue promoting the benefits of pet therapy.
